Nick and Jen took Jon and I to a New Jersey Nets game. They were awful. Like, heartbreaking awful. They didn't just lose. They lost in the last 4 seconds, when they were in the lead the ENTIRE GAME. Another reason to not like New Jersey. Even the little kids during half time were better than the Nets. Also most of the players on the Nets were younger than me. Born in 1987?! Say What?

Today is Jon's birthday. It also happened to be a horrible day at work. So we had a lovely dinner out, with some tears.

Berries+Sugar=Pie. Made and consumed as close to midnight as possible.

10 minutes putting together my laundry. 28 minutes in the washer. 45 minutes in a broken dryer with no out of order sign on it. 2 minutes talking to the Greek Lady who runs the laundry mat about how I just lost 5 quarters on a machine that doesn't work. 15 seconds realizing I am mad about quarters and 45 minutes of my time. 2 seconds feeling sorry for myself, and realizing I need to chill out. 2 minutes moving wet clothes into new dryer. 45 minutes in a working dryer. Finally friggin' done.

Oh, really, of all the things.

I had a wonderful night. Drinks with Sharyn, an amazing lady and brilliant playwright. Then Passing Strange with a half a dozen gays and a chihuahua named Dexter. I photographed M&M's.
