Red Ladies and Lobster

Had a beautiful weekend in Connecticut. Melissa was a lovely host. We went to delicious restaurants (ie the Lobster Omelette Caroline and I enjoyed) and took a swing on Melissa new Dancing Pole.

Shake Motherlovin' Shack

We went to spend the night in Hoover's new pad on the Upper East Side, and hit up the newly opened Shake Shack. It was beyond amazing. ::Note on how to "woo" Courtney:: I love maraschino cherries, and I never understand why they are not considered a topping on a sundae. Why have one, when you can have a bunch? Well, at Shake Shack they have a pineapple upside down sundae, and it comes with a heaping helping of cherries. Consider me wooed!

Salted Brownies and Spicy Conversation

Last weekend we celebrated Jihan's birthday in Prospect Park. I also tried out a recipe for Salted Fudge Brownie, yummy!

Record Party

Hoovs and Jason came over to help Jon and I organize the records into categories. Jazz, Classical, Rock, Folk, Christmas, Children's, and Gay Icons.

So yeah, I will actually win this in about 2 years. Co-Op the musical by Matt Schatz and Courtney "Book" Lauria will sweep the Tonys. You gotta think positive, and you gotta dream big. I have to say, it is amazing what a little pep talk can do. Matt, Kevin, Jihan, Sharyn, and Corey will make it into my acceptance speech for sure. Right after I thank spell check.

We tried everything to keep Kevin from going to law school, but alas, even Val dressed like a memaw could not keep him in NYC.
