Brian's Birthday Brunch

Friends came from all over for Brian's Birthday last weekend. Pumpkins were painted, pies were made, drinks were drank.

Disney again? Ok, I'm in!

Disney was crazy busy and made me hate people, well, not all people, just the impolite ones. We ate our way through Epcot @ the food and wine festival, and took many boat rides. Good time had by all, once the 90,000 people went away.

Look who's coming to dinner!

Jason's mom was in town last week, and he made an amazing curry shrimp. Jason's mom was super sweet and I got lots of funny "jason as a baby" stories. Also, we had the craziest rain storm that night that sort of sealed the deal that my sunroof had a leak. :( Wah wah.

Gatz and Gays.

That's right, it's 10-10-10, and everyone and their gay brother is getting married today. We went to lovely Greenwich Connecticut this morning to see the beautiful wedding of David and Joel! Then off to Carmine's for some amazing after ceremony grub. It was the most laid back wedding I have ever been to, and loved every second of it. Also, Kevin took me to GATZ @ the Public. 6 hours of theater, and I will never be the same. No seriously my knees are killing me today. A man reads The Great Gatsby, and I listened to every word, never experienced anything like it.

Brian took me to Mesa for dinner, but I got too drunk on gin gimlets to remember what the heck I ate. Lobster? Crab? I think there was a pie involved? Then I took him to the Met Opera to see Rigoletto. It was beautiful, boring, fun, giggle inducing, poetic, and different. Opera crowds are not like theater crowds. There was a woman there in a tiny top hat for christ's sake. Also Brian and I will now be known as Mr and Mrs. Ben Kirschenbaum.
